This summer has been hot and humid. We've been going to the programs at the library, the YMCA, Summer Enrichment. Pretty much anywhere there is AC. This past week it has cooled down and we have been able to get outside and play. The other morning we went to a park that has a running trail and walked around it. They have little exercise stations every so often kids like doing them.
We've been watching the show America Ninja Warrior; so that's what Price was pretending to be. He could do all three levels without stopping. He's like a little monkey.
Other goings on with us: We've lived in our house for 5 yrs now and to commemorate this we gave the house a good powerwash. Now our house is actually white, not gray and green and gross. It's amazing what a difference it made to the look of our house.
We had the annual tri-ward Pioneer picnic this past Saturday. It was the usual church pot luck. Our neighbors, the Newmans, came. We hung out with them and our friends the Andersons. The kids played and had fun getting sand everywhere. And yet again Liah took the girls and played with them; it was great!
I finished re-painting Price's dresser. The good ole Indian School dresser has served us well for many years. It's been many different colors, but it is a solid piece of furniture. How old does something have to be before it's considered an heirloom? or is it still considered a hand-me-down?
