Easter and More

Easter has already come and gone and I've never posted anything. What a slacker I am. Life has been crazy lately. Brynlee has dance on Mondays and swim lessons on Wednesdays, Price starts track this week and I've beening on working on Body Pump stuff. Last week I team taught a few times. Then on Saturday I taught solo for the first time. It was crazy. During the week the classes that I go to are really friendly and filled with stay at home moms and nice people. The Saturday morning crowd is a whole different ball game. They were not very friendly and almost hostile. But I guess they were mad they had to put up with the newby instructor. But I survived and next time I know that they aren't going to be warm and fuzzy and will go in with my armor on.

But first Easter....

On Saturday we went to the church to watch Jeremy play in the stake b-ball tourney. It was going well until our friend Mike broke his ankle and Jer hurt his knee again. So the CR3rd ward was hurting for players by the end of the game. But they are both doing fine now. Jer has an MRI tomorrow so we'll see how that goes.

We came home and colored eggs for awhile with our friends the Andersons. Then our neighbors the Newmans (and yes, everytime I say their name it's like Jerry said it on Seinfeld). It was a little rainy, but the kids had a great time.

On Easter Sunday we relaxed and hung out and then went to church (I sure love 1 o'clock church). Church was great minus hanging out in the foyer for most of sacrament meeting. Then we came home and had a super yummy dinner of ham and potatoes. A fun weekend, minus the injury to Jeremy.

On Saturday after my teaching catastrophe we went down to Nauvoo. It was a last minute trip. We were planning on going this week, but the temple is closed for cleaning for a few weeks so we had to hurry and get down there. Luckily the weather wasn't too bad and the kids had fun playing at the park. It was nice to spend time together as a family and be able to relax for a bit.
