Family History Tour

More of the Price family reunion. We went on little family history tour around Southern Utah. We went and saw where the Mountain Meadow Massacre happened and then went over to Pine Valley. While driving we read some history about our ancestors that settled this little town. The first one was about a flood that killed one family and the other was about our ancestor that impregnated a girl, but refused to marry her. So her dad ambushed him one day and shot him in the back. The guy (Rance) turned around and shot him in the heart. Our anestors (the Allphins) were known to be very good shots (quite the claim to fame). It was an interesting story and we got to see Rance's gravesite. Then we went and saw this church they built back in the late 1800s that is still used today.
The guy who built it was a shipmaker so he built it as an upside down ship.

All the Price grandkids. Quite the rowdy crew. See if you can spot "Flat Livi".

After the history lesson/tour we went over to Veyo to the pool there. The pool was small and crowded, but there is a little stream nearby that the older kids had fun catching crawdads in.
Kylee liked laying out having Grandpa feed her ice cream.

Just chillin with Dad.

Price and Bryn had lots of fun swimming they are getting to be little fish. I guess we need to take them swimming at real pools more often.
