Nauvoo

While Artice and Steph were still here we decided to go to Nauvoo and enjoy some of the sights.  We go to Nauvoo all the time, but for some reason we don't see the historical sights.  We go to the temple, pioneer past times and the visitor center and that's it.  So this time we decided to really be tourists and see all the fun stuff.

We visited the school, tin shop, gun maker, bakery and other fun places.  We were playing at pioneer past times and a big wind storm came along so we helped clean up and then headed inside to see some of the historical houses.

 

In the evening we went and saw 'Sunset on the Mississippi'.  It was fun and really cute.  Last time we tried to see this I was huge pregnant with Brynlee.  We were only about 15 minutes into it and it started to downpour.  Everyone was running for their cars and I couldn't find Price.  Luckily we were with family and my niece had grabbed him.  So this time we were able to enjoy the whole show.

 The kids got to make hats and be in a parade.

After that show we were able to see "Vocal Point" perform.  They are an a-capella group from BYU.  We saw them in concert here in Cedar Rapids and wanted to take Artice to see them.  The show was great, a little short, but we had fun seeing them again.
