Price's school had a family night last weeek. They had a bounce house and different races for the kids to do. I wasn't sure if we'd go since Jer just had surgery, but he was feeling up to it so we went. The kids had a great time running around. They would have loved playing in the bounce house more, but they only got a few minutes in it because the line was so long. But they did gunny sack races, the one where you take an egg on a spoon and race with it. They played disc golf and tug of war. A fun night. Plus we stayed and talked to our friends the Andersons while the kids played on the play ground.
The weather was great and the kids got to use up all their energy. Jeremy over did it and was feeling the pain later that night. But that has been the story with him this last week. He'll feel good and then do too much and be sore later on. But he's slowly healing and getting up and about more. Although one drawback of him being home is that he watches infomercials and wants to buy all this useless crap. He takes the testimonials as fact and proof of the crap's worth not that people are just saying great things to sell more useless crap. So I need to hide the credit card and turn off the TV before he goes crazy on QVC.
